Our group courses for teaching Arabic language has 10 levels, starting from beginner up to advanced level. Our students shall take from 2 to 2,5 years without interruption to complete the whole course successfully. After this period of study, the student will become proficient in Arabic language and can get a certificate in Arabic equal to (TOEFL) from any university in the world.
Group courses consist of 3 to 5 students per group. This type of courses is suitable for male and female adults only, as the curriculums shall meet their needs for learning Arabic, and are designed specifically for teaching Arabic to non-Arabs.
The classes will be one and a half hours 3 times a week.
All students shall feel enthusiasm and motivation in studying Arabic.
Students shall be trained on Arabic conversation and speaking through discussions with each other. This is the best environment for language practice at all.
Students can help each other after the class in what they find difficult to understand.
This course is developed and prepared by a group of experts in the field of Arabic language teaching in Egypt. Our books are authorized in Egypt and have been awarded and rated by the Arabic Language Academy in Cairo as the best books for teaching Arabic to foreigners.
This division of levels is in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This framework teaches language in the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) plus grammar.
In this way, the student will get a comprehensive development in all skills of Arabic, most importantly, the skill of speaking and conversation.
Young adult beginners can join these groups as they start from alphabets to advanced levels.
Courses are given in classical Arabic only to enable the students to be fully involved in the Arabic language. Do not worry about communication with teachers, as they are well experienced in facilitating communication and simplifying information even if you do not know a single word in Arabic.
If you have not studied Arabic before, or do not know the Arabic alphabets or commit significant mistakes in reading and writing, do not take the test. The level suitable for you is level 1.
This test can be taken by the students who have studied the following books: (Al-Madina book (all levels), Al-Arabiyatu Bayna Yaadayk (Arabic at your hands), Book of Umm Al-Qura University, Al-Kitab Al-Asasi (Basic Book), books of Kunooz Center, books of Al-Ibanah Center, books of Al-Furqan Center, An-Nahw Al-Wadih, Al-Ajroumiya, Qatr An-Nada, Al-Sarf Al-Kafi) or those who have studied with any other Arabic center or college.
This test is developed in compliance with the global testing standards. It measures the level in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The test is divided into the four skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening) plus grammar.
The test has only 5 questions in each skill, so that each question score shows the right level for joining us. The questions measure all levels from level 1 to the excellent level.
This test is not for a specific book, rather it can measure the student’s actual skills in Arabic language. The student can know his/her strengths and weaknesses through the test. This test also helps us by the student’s score to determine his/her level and weak skills that need focus to be good as the other skills.
The test date is determined by agreement with the AIC management after paying the test fees (21$/18£) by the student before the test.
The test time is 3 hours only. All answers shall be in an electronic form and will be sent back for correction of answers.
In the speaking and conversation skill section, a male teacher (for men) or a female teacher (for women) will be available to hear your answer and give a score.
The student will know his/her score on the following day as well as the right level to join the course.
The test sections will handle vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling, punctuation and Hamza rules, writing a paragraph and a letter, together with questions in Arabic grammar and many Audio material and question about them and multiple questions for conversation and speaking in Arabic.
